I couldn't AccessDenied=1 as that was too preventive since I could not use the hide/unhide keyboard button. Therefore I had to use AccessDenied=2 and a different combination of setting within the option to prevent a user from moving the keyboard. But if option 1 can be used with the hide/unhide feature, it would be the best for me. I used AutoIT script to call a 2 sec CRTL down key to unhide the keyboard. And created my own keyboard with a hide/unhide button to hide keyboard. I can make new option AccessDenied=1. But I think it's better to use "Floating Window for the On-Screen Keyboard" or "floating icon next to the text cursor" (see option). 2. I think I found out how to distribute the keyboard created for all deployment. It was a text file under the same name I used when editing. Please let me know if not otherwise and what other files and setting I need to include when attempting to distribute a unified keyboard for all 200 units. All changed keyboard txt-files saves in directory “Application Data”. You can see full path in the caption of the window “Edit keyboard type”. For example: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Application Data\ComfortSoftware\CKeys\Keyboards\ You can move files from this directory to subdirectory of the program. We have made such behavior because of problem with access in Windows Vista. 3. Along with the distribution of the keyboard. What Registry setting may I record down that would refer to the default location of the keyboard. This assume I have locked it down in the model client workstation that is to distributed. All settings placed in the system registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ComfortSoftware\CKeys I think you also have to distribute file .cka (see parameter ActionFileName). 4. Is there a way to activate the remaining keys of a full size keyset within a keyset that only have the primary alpha and numeric. Thus it does not include the number pad's keys nor the INS,HOME and END.. etc. I was looking for an additonal key when depressed would change some of existing keys on my keyboard to the additonal functions that would have been there if I had reestate to place it. You can make this in window "Keyboard Shortcuts Settings", for example see action "Replace key or shortcut". I also recommend you to try Hot Virtual Keyboard: http://hot-virtual-keyboard.com/ Have a nice day | ||
