Hi,
I recently bought an old Surface Pro from 2013 and the bezels are huge. And I have relatively small hands.
I'd like to use a split key layout like TwoSides or TwoSides2, but with the inner keys (5,t,g,b;6,y,h,n) being much
closer to the screen edges. That'll make them a bit harder, but moch more comfortable to hit.
I didn't find a convenient way of shrinking it that way (manipulating width never quite
does what I expect it to, with or without 'keep aspect ratio', I think that setting only makes sense with
a non-split keyboard).
I know, I could probably make that happen by shrinking the width of each key and then trying to
arrange them edge by edge, but that's a lot of work, for configuring software, that I can't yet
decide to buy (without it being comfortable, I wouldn't want to test it for long).

Could you add a TwoSidesEdgeClose and TwoSidesEdgeClose (maybe with some different degrees of edge-closeness)?
Or is there maybe a user layout like that already somewhere, that I could take?
My thumb is 2.75 inches/7cm long, all four bezels are 0.8 inches/2cm long , the resolution for the device is
1920 by 1080, if that helps.
Best Regards,
David

Actually found a layout that does that well enough in the 'hot virtual keyboard' software, which seems to be exactly the same program,
but with a different name and a few more templates. It's also a bit more expensive (30$ vs 10$ for the cheapest configuration).
Can I buy the 'comfort keyboard' here and use the 'hot virtual keyboard'-templates? What's the reason behind both
products being on the market (they are both copyrighted under the 'comfort-software' brand)?
I don't want to buy the thing that doesn't get updated in the future and I don't want to pay too much, you see.

If this is some big secret marketing strategy and you will want to delete this post and ban me, that's okay,
but please email me in that case, if you don't mind.

Usually no.

Lite version doesn't allow to scale keyboard.
Comfort On-Screen Keyboard Pro doesn't include the hotkey manager.

Have a nice day
